Connect your AI app to your own Youth4work account. Job seekers can keep their profile up to date, find and apply to jobs and answer WorkMail. Employers can post jobs, review applicants, find candidates and run assessments.

Before you start
- You need a Youth4work account: a job seeker account or an employer account. If you do not have one, you can create it on the sign-in page.
- The tools you get depend on the account you sign in with. Job seeker accounts get job seeker tools; employer accounts get employer tools. Both get WorkMail and the public search tools.
- Your AI app acts as you. Actions that reach other people (applying, sending messages, revealing contact details, inviting people to tests, posting a job) are marked so the app asks you first.
Claude
Add Youth4work as a custom connector
- On claude.ai or Claude Desktop, open Customize (or Settings), then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector. Name:
Youth4work. URL:https://mcp.youth4work.com/mcp. Leave the OAuth client on the default. - Select Add, then Connect. A Youth4work sign-in page opens. Sign in and approve.
- In a chat, make sure Youth4work is switched on in the tools menu, then ask, for example: "What should I add to my Youth4work profile?"

Plans: custom connectors work on Claude Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. The Free plan allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner adds the connector for the organisation first, then each member connects with their own Youth4work account. Connectors added on the web are also available in the Claude mobile apps and in Claude Code when you sign in with the same Claude account.
ChatGPT
Our ChatGPT plugin listing is not live yet. At the time of writing, OpenAI's developer mode page says custom MCP apps (developer mode, with full support for actions that change data) are available to ChatGPT Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces on the web, and that a workspace admin or owner turns developer mode on. Check that page for your plan; if your plan is not covered, use Claude or another MCP app below.
- Make sure developer mode is on for your account (your workspace admin enables it in the workspace settings; on Enterprise and Edu, members it is granted to find it under Settings, Apps, Advanced settings).
- Under Apps, choose Create, enter the URL

- Pick the Youth4work app in a new chat and ask your question.
ChatGPT asks you to confirm actions that change data. OpenAI renames these menus from time to time; its page above has the current steps.

- The page shows which app is asking and where access will go. Check it before you approve.

Limits
Limits are per account, over a rolling 24 hours, unless stated. When you reach one, the tool says so and you can carry on at youth4work.com.

Troubleshooting
The sign-in page says it has expired
The page is valid for 15 minutes. Go back to your AI app and connect again.
"This app could not be verified, so it cannot connect"
The AI app's identity document could not be loaded. Try again; if it keeps happening, remove the connector, add it again, and in Claude choose "Register automatically" as the OAuth client.
I see only some tools, or not the ones I expected
Tools depend on the account you signed in with. Ask your AI app to run get_me to see the account type. To switch accounts, disconnect the connector and connect again with the other account. Also check the connector is switched on for the chat.
"Daily limit reached"
You have reached one of the limits. It resets 24 hours after the earliest action counted, or you can do the action on youth4work.com.
"Rate limit: 120 requests per minute"
The app sent too many requests at once. Wait a minute and ask again.
My new headline or about text does not show yet
Some text is reviewed by moderators before it appears. The tool result says when that happens.
A city, skill, college or course was not recognised
Youth4work matches these to its own lists. The error lists close matches: ask the app to retry with one of them.
The app keeps asking me to sign in
Your connection may have been revoked or expired (after 90 days without use). Connect again. If it repeats, remove the connector and add it again.
FAQ
Is it free?
Yes. The connector is free for Youth4work members. Employers can also buy a yAccess plan through it: the app shows the plans, creates a checkout for the one you choose and gives you a pay link. You open the link and pay on Youth4work's own Razorpay page (UPI, cards or net banking); the plan starts by itself after payment and the link works for 2 days. The app never pays and never sees your payment details. Other paid services, such as Prep packs, are bought on the Youth4work site.
Can the AI take a skill test or exam for me?
No. Tests are taken by you in your own browser. The connector only gives you the link.
Will the AI apply to jobs or message people without asking me?
Those tools are marked as actions that reach other people, so Claude and ChatGPT ask you before running them. Always check the job or the message before you approve.
Does Youth4work see my chats?
No. We only receive the tool requests your AI app sends, such as a job search. See the privacy policy.
Can employers see my phone number through this?
Only in the same cases as on the site: if your profile is public or you applied to their job, an employer can reveal your contact details. Every reveal is logged and limited. Make your profile private with update_settings or on the site to stop showing up in searches.
How do I disconnect?
Remove or disconnect Youth4work in your AI app's connector settings. To revoke every connection on your account, e-mail support. Details are in the privacy policy.
Which countries does it cover?
Youth4work is an Indian careers platform: jobs, cities and colleges are in India.
